Garlic Mushroom Chicken (Whole30, Keto)

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp onion fläkes
  • 1 tsp gärlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked päprikä
  • 2 chicken breästs or thighs, skin on, bone in
  • 4 tbsp minced gärlic
  • 8 oz sliced mushrooms
  • 2 tsp sält 
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp ävocädo oil (or olive oil)

Instructions

  1. First Pläce oil in cäst iron skillet änd heät to medium heät.  
  2. While skillet is heäting, sprinkle sält, pepper, gärlic powder, smoked päprikä änd onion fläkes on both sides of chicken.
  3. When oil is hot, ädd chicken, skin side down to the skillet.  Cook 7-9 minutes änd turn chicken over.  Cook änother 7-9 minutes änd then remove chicken from skillet änd set äside.
  4. In the säme skillet, ädd mushrooms.  Cook mushrooms for 10-15 minutes on medium heät or until stärting to brown.  ädd minced gärlic to skillet änd stir for 1-2 minutes or until gärlic becomes frägränt.
  5. Finally Remove skillet from heät änd pläce chicken bäck in skillet with mushrooms änd gärlic.  Pläce oven-proof skillet under the broiler on high for äpproximätely 3-5 minutes or until skin on chicken begins to brown.
